Heather’s Bridal Shoot on the Battery

Charleston Bridal Portraits

When I first spoke with Heather, she expressed an interest in doing a Bridal session near the battery. We were both excited, so much so that when we scheduled the date, neither of us actually realized that we had planned to shoot on the Battery on Memorial Day weekend. People were everywhere.

But we made it work! With a little luck, some creative camera work and a few polite “Would you mind please moving for a moment”‘s we walked away with some really awesome shots! The best part of the whole day was the fact that Heather designed her own bouquet’s! She showed up prepared with 5 absolutely stunning bouquet’s that she had designed and put together herself through her company If you’re looking for a Florist for your Charleston wedding, you should definitely get up with Heather!

Even with the massive numbers of people, it was an awesome day and we got some beautiful images. I hope you agree! Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Kelsey and Ian’s Waterfront Park Bridal Session!

Kelsey and Ian wanted something a little different, but I was more than happy to oblige! Kelsey wanted a Bridal session, but thought it would be fun to include her husband to be! So for a few hours we walked around downtown and took some gorgeous images! The featured image is probably one of my favorite pictures! Kelsey and Ian were amazing though, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them!

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, Bridal and Engagement shoots are my absolute favorite part of the process because I get the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my clients in a low pressure environment! This helps me to get to know them better and make the images from their wedding day that much more personal! So as always, if you’re on the fence about booking an engagement session or a bridal session, I highly recommend it!

A huge thanks to my wonderful assistant Maddie who helped me out at the last minute today!

Check out the images below and let me know what you think!
